After purchasing this book initially I flicked through and thought looks pretty comprehensive but did not really realize how valuable and detailed the content was.

However as the primary purpose of this book was to help my study towards the ITIL V3 foundation exam I started to read through in greater detail to help with my studies.

This book covers the subject matter well (well as well as it can given the subject matter which is dry to say the least). However I'm assuming that those looking to purchase this aren't looking for a riveting read. Good! The layout is good and the subject matter is covered in detail without the reader feeling they are being rushed.

Concise, clean, straight to the point. Digested this book and passed ITIL V3 F. with no issues. This is how the foundation book should be.

Ken, 3/5

This book cover ITIL as it was before the 2011 make over. Principals are the same, and still has some merit. I would advise going for a book that has 2011 in the title.
